Carson City Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit to Hold Golf Tournament Fundraiser

On May 4th, 2024 your Carson City Sheriff’s Office K9 unit will hold its first golf tournament at the Silver Oak Golf Course here in Carson City! Registration can be done online here: Register Your Team!

The tournament will be scramble style with teams of four competing for first place prizes and bragging rights!  There will also be Long Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Hole-in-One challenges with prizes for each winner, along with a 50/50 raffle opportunity.  Lunch will be provided, and all proceeds go entirely to support your local K9 Unit!

To register a team, please come to the front counter of the Sheriff’s Office where registration can be paid with cash or check.  Registration is $480 per team and will be collected when you visit the Sheriff’s Office to reserve your spot.  Raffle opportunities and other K9 merchandise will be available the day of the event.

There are also sponsorship opportunities for advertisement of your business or program!  Individual hole tee-boxes can be purchased for advertisement space during the tournament at a rate of $500 per hole.  Hole advertisement spaces are limited and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Please contact Sergeant Darin Riggin (information below) if you’re interested in purchasing a tee-box space or have any other questions.

Come enjoy some spring golf while supporting your local K9s, and May the 4th be with you!

For additional information regarding CCSO K9, or if you’d like to know how you can donate to the K9 unit, please contact Sergeant Darin Riggin or visit the Sheriff’s Office main building during regular business hours.
